Description of key information

Based on read across the vapour pressure of the test substance has been  determined to  0.73mPa at 20°C and 1.2 mPa at 25 °C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0.001 Pa
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

Read across: The worst case scenario has been used.

The tested substance , CAS 61791 -31 -9, has a shorter alkyl chain (C12 -C14) compared to the substance registered, which has an alkyl chain length of mainly C16 - C18. Also the tested substance is etoxylatated and the substance registered is propoxylated. This means that the structure of the both molecules are similar, but the molecular weight for the tested sample is lower. The conclusion is that

the vapour pressure of the substance registered is with all probability is lower than 0.73mPa at 20°C and 1.2 mPa at 25 °C
