Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Conclusions:
- The acute toxicity of ethyl methyl carbonate on the freshwater invertebrate Daphnia magna has been investigated and gave a 48-Hour EC50 of greater than 100 mg/L. Correspondingly the No Observed Effect Concentration was 100 mg/L.
No classification is required for acute aquatic toxicity according to REGULATION (EC) No 1272/2008 (of 16 Dec 2008) based on this test result.
