First-aid measures

This substance is not classified as hazardous according to Regulation (EC) 1272/2008. Neither does the substance fulfill any of the criteria of Art. 31 (1) b and c of the REACH regulation. Therefore, SDS does not need to be provided according to art. 31 of REACH regulation. However guidance on safe use is provided as follows:

After inhalation: Supply fresh air; get medical attentions.

• After skin contact: Instantly wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly.

• After eye contact:

Rinse opened eye for several minutes (~15 min.) under running water. If symptoms

persist, consult doctor.

• After swallowing:

Rinse out mouth and then drink plenty of water.

If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Get medical attentions.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing agents:

CO2, extinguishing powder or water spray. Fight larger fires with water spray or

alcohol-resistant foam.

• For safety reasons unsuitable extinguishing agents: Water with a full water jet.

• Special hazards caused by the material, its products of combustion or resulting

gases:

Formation of toxic gases is possible during heating or in case of fire.

Do not inhale explosion gases or combustion gases.

The usual precautionary measures should be adhered to general rules for handling

chemicals.

Keep away from foodstuffs, beverages and food.

Do not eat, drink or smoke while working.

Avoid contact with the eyes and skin.

Wash hands during breaks and at the end of the work.

Use breathing protection in case of insufficient ventilation.
