Method: Laser scattering/diffraction
In general, the scattering of the incident light gives distinct pattern which are measured by a detector. This technique is particle property dependetnt – i.e. material has unique scattering and diffraction properties which are also particle size dependent. Laser scattering techniques are suitable for geometric particles, viz spheres, cubes and monocrystals. Particle size will be established optically.
