First-aid measures

If inhaled

Move the victim to fresh air.

Give oxygen or artificial respiration if needed.

Get immediate medical advice/ attention.

Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

In case of skin contact

Wash off immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.

Use a mild soap if available.

Remove contaminated clothing and shoes.

If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/ attention.

In case of eye contact:

Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes.

Get medical attention immediately if irritation develops and persists.

If swallowed:

Get immediate medical advice/ attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Thermal decomposition may produce oxides of carbon and nitrogen.

Burning produces noxious and toxic fumes.

Product burns vigorously when exposed to heat or flame. Contamination by acids or alkalies may cause ignition. Product can heat spontaneously and cause fire. An exotherm occurs at approximately 300 F that can lead to ignition of this material.

Accidental release measures

Do not touch spilled material. Ventilate area of spill or leak. Remove all sources of ignition, heat, flames or sparks. Small spills: flood with water. Larger spills: wet down area with water and dike for later disposal. Keep unnecessary people away, isolate area and deny entry.

Handling and storage

Keep away from heat.

Keep away from flames and sparks.

PNP contamination with incompatible materials or storage for extended periods in hot conditions can cause spontaneous combustion. Refrigerated storage and transportation at temperatures of 45 °F or less is highly recommended.

Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.

Wash thoroughly after handling.
