Results and discussion

Flammable solids
Key result
Test procedure:
burning rate test: preliminary screening test
Remarks on result:
other: The substance does ignite but does not propagate combustion either by burning with flame or smouldering.

Any other information on results incl. tables

The flame of the gas burner did ignite the test item pile. The test item melted, burned with a orange flame and turned into a black and brown residue. White smoke was observed. After removal of the ignition source, the flame extinguished after 2 seconds and no propagation of combustion was observed.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
other: not classified based on GHS or CLP criteria
Conclusions:
The substance is not a flammable solid.
Executive summary:

A GLP study according to EC A.10 and UN Test N.1 was performed. In the preliminary screening test, the substance does ignite but does not propagate combustion either by burning with flame or smouldering. The substance is concluded to be not a flammable solid.
