*The relative density D204 is the ratio between the measured density of the test substance at 20 °C and the density of water at 4 °C (= 0.99997 g/cm3). The relative density has no dimension.

Conclusions:
A relative density density value of 0.758, and a density value of 0.758 g/cm3 at 20 °C was determined in a reliable study conducted according to an appropriate test protocol. It was not compliant with GLP.

Description of key information

Ethoxytrimethylsilane: 0.758 g/cm³ at 20°C (oscillating densitimeter, Method A.3)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
0.758

Additional information

A relative density value of 0.785 and a density value of 0.758 °C g/cm³ at 20°C were determined by oscillating densitimeter according to EU Method A.3. In a supporting study a density value of 0.87 g/cm³ at 20°C was obtained using an accepted calculation method (QSAR). The result is considered to be reliable. This is supported by a measured value of 0.75 g/cm³ at 25°C.
