Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
other: Not irritant
Conclusions:
Not irritating.
Executive summary:

Rabbits were exposure to the test substance in its unchanged form (powder). The scoring was performed at 10 minutes, 1 and 24 hours and after 3 and 8 days.

After 1 hour, slight oedema and redness were noted; at 24 hours only a slight redness persisted; at 8 days no signs of irritation were present. In addition, since the substance was not washed away from the eyes of rabbits, the results of the test could have been subjected to overestimation, due to the intrinsic irritative nature of dusty materials.

Conclusion

Not eye irritant.
