Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A GLP-compliant, guideline study is available for rosin (Laboratory for Applied Biology, 1997c). The EC50 was determined to be >10,000 mg/L. The authors conclude that the EC20 is >10,000 mg/L, but based on visual inspection of the data it is clear that the EC10 is also >10,000 mg/L.

The substances in this category are readily biodegradable and this also suggests that they are not toxic to microorganisms.
