Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Study technically not feasible. The water solubility of the test substance at neutral pH was determined to be <0.009 mg/L, thus the substance is considered insoluble in water. Therefore a test was not performed.

Additional information

Methods used to determine dissociation constants include the spectrophotometric, titration and conductometric methods as well as calculation methods.

None of the mentioned methods is considered suitable to determine possible pKa values of this inorganic substance, mainly due to lack of sensitivity and specificity (to distinguish between different ionic species) or limitations of commonly used pKa calculation software programs (e.g. metal ions cannot be computed, thus would not be supported by the calculation algorithms).
