A closed-cup flash point value of 7°C was reported for the substance in a study report according to an appropriate national standard method (ASTM D-56), but not in compliance with any known quality system. The result is considered to be reliable and is selected as key study.
The key study is supported by a flash point value of <79°C which was reported for the substance based on an open-cup method using ASTM D-92 test method.
In a secondary source to which reliability could not be assigned, a flash point value of -9°C was reported for the substance.
