Data included in the Project 801® Database are compiled and evaluated by the Design Institute for Physical Property Data (DIPPR) of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. As such, the value specified in the DIPPR 801® Database represents the best available normal boiling point value for trimethoxysilane. The AIChE DIPPR 801 Database specifies that the uncertainty associated with the normal boiling point value for trimethoxysilane is < 1%.

In available secondary sources to which reliability could not be assigned, boiling point values in the range 81 -87°C at 1013 hPa were reported for the substance.

The variations in boiling points may be due to difference in substance purity, unrecorded deviations from standard atmospheric pressure or deficiencies in the test methodology.
