- In an acute inhalation toxicity test 4 groups of 6 rats (sex distribution and strain not reported) were exposed for 4 hours to chlorodifluoromethane vapors at concentrations of 32000, 64000, 128000 and 250000 ppm. Only one mortality was observed at the 250000 ppm concentration.
