Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The solubility of the test substance in double distilled water at neutral pH and 20.4 was determined to be < 9*10-6 g/l. The pH was measured to be 7.4-7.7.

The solubility of the test substance in HCL/KCL buffer solution pH 1.3 at 38.9 ºC, studied in a nominal 50 g/l test solution, was determined to be <0.035 g/l based on analysis of aluminium. Probably aluminium precipitated as a consequence of an increase of pH to 5.5.

When the test substance was dissolved/dissociated in HCL/KCL buffer solution pH 1.3 at 37 ºC at a nominal concentration of 1.0 g/l, the pH remained stable at 1.6, and aluminium remained in the solution.

Based on these results, the exact solubility of the test substance at pH 1-2 could not be determined, but is > 1 g/l.
