Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

This study was performed in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) in , Procedures and Principles, March 1986.
The study has been performed in accordance to the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals No. 104 "Vapour Pressure Curve" resp. test guideline 92/69/EEC A.4. Instead of the gas saturation method, which is recommended in the lowest range, the thermogravimetry method (diffusion controlled evaporation) is used.
At a temperature of 139.8 °C evaporation of methylnitroguanidine begins in the 1.scan of thermogravimetry, corresponding to a vapour pressure of 11 Pascal.
Vapour pressure is determined at 20 °C with 0.00002 Pa and at 25 °C with 0.00003 Pa (extrapolated).
