Conclusion on classification

The substance has been shown not to exhibit any effects with regards to toxicity in any of the ecotoxicology studies conducted, with EC50 values in excess of 100 mg/L and NOEC values of 100mg/L, the highest concentration tested.

Furthermore, although the substance cannot be regarded as being readily biodegradable, it is highly water soluble and partitions strongly to the aqueous phase as indicated by its experimentally determined octanol/water partition coefficient of <-4.0 indicating it has a very low potential for bioaccumulation.

As such the substance does not warrant classification in accordance with the criteria set out in Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
