- Executive summary:
The toxicity of FAT - 92'333/A to activated sludge was determined in a 3-hours respiration inhibition test according to the OECD Guideline No. 209. and to the EG Method Nr.L 133/118. The test was performed in compliance with the Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Regulations of Switzerland. The test substance concentrations tested were 320.100. 32 and 10 mg/l. The reference substance 3.5-Dichlorophenol was tested in concentrations of 32,10 and 3.2 mg/l.
Results: IC50 of FAT - 92'333/A : > 320 mg/l
IC50 of the reference substance : 7.8 mg/l
Reference
IC50:
The respiration rate of each test concentration was calculated as a percentage of the mean of the two control respiration rates. The results were plotted on a logarithmic (concentration)/normal (% inhibition) graph, where the IC5Q can be evaluated.
