Description of key information

Hydrolysis

For this endpoint a one-to-one read-across was performed to a chemical similar compound of the same chemical class with a comparable physicochemical profile. The relevant study was performed according to GLP and the methods applied are fully compliant with OECD Guideline 111. The read-across substance was found to be hydrolytically stable (reference 5.1.2-1).

Biodegradation

The substance was found to be not readily biodegradable (references 5.2.1-1).

Adsorption/desorption

In accordance with Column 2 of Annex IX of Regulation EC No 1907/2006, the adsorption-desorption test (required in section 9.3.3.) is not required as the substance has low octanol water partition coefficient (Log Pow -2.94 at 20 °C) and the adsorption potential of the test item is related to this parameter (reference 5.4.1-1).
