Additional information

Disregarded study

The adsorption of the test item was determined in a guideline study by determining the adorption potential to activated sludge. The dyestuffs and DOC elimination rates were chosen to measure the adsorption. The test substance was tested in a purity of ca. 12 %. Activated sludge from a BASF sewage plant was used for this test. As a result the dyestuff elimination rate was 72 % after 6 days and the DOC elimination was 30 % after 6 days. The dyestuff is not sufficient eliminated from activated sludge. The study was rated as disregarded study as it was only tested in a purity of 12 %.
