Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The ready biodegradation of the test item was determined in a study according to OECD guideline 301 B. The degree of biodegradation was < 10 % CO2/ThCO2 after an exposure period of 28 days. The test item was not readily biodegradable under the conditions of this test.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
under test conditions no biodegradation observed

Additional information

The ready biodegradation of the test item was determined in a study according to OECD guideline 301 B. The test substance was tested in a concentration of 20 mg/L TOC nominal, equivalent to approximately 44 mg/L. Activated sludge from the municipal sewage plant Mannheim was used as inoculum. The degree of biodegradation was < 10 % CO2/ThCO2 after an exposure period of 28 days. The test item was not readily biodegradable under the conditions of this test. The required pass level for readily biodegradability within a ten days window was not reached. The results in this study are consistent with all validity criteria and the test is valid according to the test guideline of this study. No deviations from the test guidelines or other incidents occurred during the course of the reported test, which may have influenced the results.
