Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.
Take affected persons out of danger area and lay down.
Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing.
Artificial respiration with respiration bag or respirator
Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with soap and water/shower..
Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician.
• After skin contact:
Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with soap and water/shower.
If skin irritation or rash occurs, get medical advice/attention.
• After eye contact:
Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
• After swallowing:
IF SWALLOWED: rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting.
Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician.
• Information for doctor:
The following symptoms may occur:
After inhalation: Irritation of mucous membranes, coughing, shortness of breath.
After swallowing: Irritation and burns in mouth, throat, esophagus and gastrointestinal tract.
After contact with eyes: Burns
After skin contact: Burns.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing agents:
Carbon dioxide, fog, foam, alcohol foam, dry chemical or dry sand for extinction
Fight larger fires with water spray.
• Unsuitable extinguishing agents: Water with full jet
• Special hazards caused by the substance, its products of combustion or resulting gases:
Hydrogen cyanide (HCN)
Nitrogen oxides (NOx)
Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide
Danger of forming toxic pyrolysis products.
• Protective equipment:
Wear fully protective suit.
Use Self-Contained Respiratory Protective device.
Do not inhale explosion gases or combustion gases.
• Additional information
Cool endangered receptacles with water spray.
Collect contaminated fire fighting water separately. It must not enter the sewage system.
Accidental release measures
• Person-related safety precautions:
Use respiratory protective device against the effects of fumes/dust/aerosol.
Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.
Keep unprotected persons away.
• Measures for environmental protection:
Do not allow to enter sewers/ surface or ground water.
• Measures for cleaning/collecting:
Absorb with liquid-binding material (sand, diatomite, acid binders, universal binders,
sawdust).
Dispose contaminated material as waste according to item 13.
Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local/regional/national/international regulations…
Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
Contaminated work clothing should not be allowed out of the workplace.
• Additional information:
Contain bigger quantities and pump into suitable receptacle.
Handling and storage
• Handling:
Do not breathe vapours.
Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.
Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.
Handle in a well-ventilated place, especially at floor level. (Fumes are heavier than air).
Open and handle receptacle with care.
Prevent formation of aerosols.
• Storage:
Keep cool. Recommended storage temperature: 0 to 10°C.
Storage class: According to VCI concept: LGK 3 A (flammable fluid substances)
Store locked up.
Keep container tightly closed.
Store in a well-ventilated place.
Do not store together with strong acids, alkalines and oxidation agents.
Keep away from ignition sources.
Keep away from heat/sparks/open flames/hot surfaces. ... No smoking.
Ground/bond container and receiving equipment.
Use only non-sparking tools.
Use explosion-proof electrical/ventilating/lighting/.../ equipment.
Take precautionary measures against static discharge.
