aerobic
Inoculum or test system:
activated sludge, non-adapted
Details on inoculum:
Origin: wastewater treatment plant Hildesheim - clarifier
Bacterial density of the inoculum: 49x10^3 colony-forming units / mL
Preparation: The activated sludge was filtered through a fluted filter. The first 200 mL were discarded. The filtrate was kept under aerobic conditions to beginning of the test .

Duration of test (contact time):
28 d
Initial test substance concentration
Initial conc.:
60 mg/L
Based on:
test mat.
Details on study design:
The necessary amounts of nutrient medium, test- and reference compounds were dissolved in 2 L flasks and filled with aqua demin.
1000 [mL] were filled into a 2 L Erlenmeyer flasks and inoculated with 0.5 [mL] inoculum. At the beginning of the test the pH was checked and adjusted to pH 7.4 ± 0.1
