Administrative data
First-aid measures
- Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing.
- When breathing is stopped or weak, loosened clothing and respiratory airway is secured, then try artificial respiration.
- Keep warm covering victim with a blanket.
- Get medical attention.
If on skin
- Remove immediately all contaminated clothing and shoes.
- Rinse contacted area with warm or cold water, and wash well with soap.
- If skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice/attention.
- Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
If in eye
- Immediately flush eyes with clean water for at least 15 minutes.
- Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
- Open eyelids well by fingers when rinse the eyes so that all area of the eyeballs and eyelids are rinsed well even a victim tries closing eyes.
- If irritation persists, get immediately medical advice/attention.
If swallowed
- Do not induce vomiting. Move a victim to a medical centre and get treatments.
- Rinse immediately inside the mouth with water.
- If vomiting occurs, try not to enter the airway keeping the body inclined.
Expected acute and delayed effects
- Skin irritation: rush, fester and redness.
- If inhaled vapours: respiratory irritation, causes headache, induces vomiting.
Most serious symptoms and effects
- If in eyes: Causes serious eye irritation.
- If on skin: May cause an allergic skin reaction.
- Causes damage to liver, kidney and spleen through prolonged or repeated exposure.
- May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways.
Protection of first-aiders
- Wear protective equipment which designated by the manufacturer.
- When take first-aid measures, attention not to contact on skin or in eyes.
Fire-fighting measures
- Powder, carbon dioxide, fire foam, dry sand or water spray.
Prohibited agents
- Direct pouring of cylinder shape water.
Special hazardous information
- May produce large amount of dark smoke. Toxic gases, e.g. carbon monoxide may be contained in emitted gases.
- In case of fire, may produce irritating, toxic and/or corrosive gases.
- Containers may be explosive when heated.
Special fire-fighting procedures
- Take action from the windward.
- Since a flash point is very low, spray water if fire-fighting is not effective.
- Move container and place it in a safe area if it is not dangerous. If it is not possible, keep cool by spraying water against the container.
- Continue cooling containers with plenty of water after extinction.
Protection of fire-fighters
- Wear appropriate respiratory devise and protective clothing for chemicals.
- Off-limits around the fire except responsible persons.
Accidental release measures
- Immediately separate the released area against all directions and an appropriate distance.
- Off-limits around the released area by stretching a rope.
- Wear appropriate protective equipment and avoid contacting on skin or eye, or inhalation of gases.
- Evacuate persons in leeward. Stay in the windward.
- Leave from a lower place.
Environmental precautions
- Attention releasing products into rivers so as to avoid any effects may occur to the environment.
- Avoid releasing contaminated waste water into the environment without appropriate treatment.
Recovery and neutralisation
- Small amount of leakage: Absorbing with sand and recover in an empty container which can be locked up. Use a safety shovels so that sparks do not generate is recommended.
- Large amount of leakage: enclose the leakage with embankment, cover the surface with a fire-form and recover into an empty container which can be locked up. Treat as well as the small amount of leakage.
Methods for cleaning up, devices
- Stop leakage if it is not dangerous.
- Avoid scattering by covering a plastic sheet.
Prevention of secondary hazards
- Cut off immediately any combustion sources (No smoking and avoid sparks or flame).
- Do not pour water into a container.

Technical measures
- Take facilitation measures described in "EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION" and wear protective equipment.
Local/general ventilation
- Take local or overall ventilation described in "EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION".
Precautions for safe handling
- Prohibit using any combustion sources e.g. flame, static discharge or sparks close to the handling place.
- Take precautionary measures against static discharge. Wear electro conductive clothing and shoes.
- Avoid leakage of liquid or releasing of vapours as can as possible.
- Use only in outdoor or well-ventilated area.
- Install a local ventilation system where vapours may produce.
- Wear protective clothing if contacting or inhalation is concerned.
- Contaminated work clothing should not be allowed out of the workplace.
- Do not put the substance into eyes.
- Do not touch, inhale or swallow the substance.
- Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.
- Wash hands thoroughly after handling.
Storage
Technical measures
- It is suitable to use outside wall, pillars and floor with non-flammable materials to build the storage place so that there is no concerns of spreading fire.
- Storage place should be; roof is built with non-flammable materials, roof is blown with a light material e.g. metal boards, no ceiling is installed.
- Floor in a storage area should avoid flooding or infiltrating.
- Floor in a storage area should avoid infiltrating of dangerous products, set an appropriate inclination and a saving box.
- Install light and ventilation devices in a storage place so that it is necessary to storage and handle dangerous products.
Storage condition
- Store apart from flame, heat and ignition source.
- Store in a cool well ventilated place.
- Store apart from oxidizing agents.
- Avoid direct sunshine or fire.
- Store locked up.

Exposure controls / personal protection
- Use explosion-proof electrical/ventilating/lighting equipment.
- Take precautionary measures against static discharge.
- Install eye washer and safety shower near handling and storage area.
- Handle with a closed equipment or device.
- Install local ventilation for indoor use.
Personal protective equipment
Respiratory protection
- Use protective equipment for respiration.
- If exposure is concerned, use hazard mask (for organic chemicals), air-supplied mask, respirator or oxygen respirator.
Hand protection
- Use appropriate protective gloves (oil-proof).
Eye protection
- Use eye protective equipment.
- Wear a goggle for chemical spray or an appropriate face protection.
- Wear safety glasses. If eye or face contact is concerned due to splashing or spray, wear an inclusive chemical splash goggle or face shield.
Skin and body protection
- Wear protective equipment for face.
- Use anti-static discharge apron and boots.
- When splashing, full cover chemical proof protective clothing (e.g. acid suit) and boots is needed.
Hygiene measures
- Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.
- Wash hands well with soap after handling.
Stability and reactivity
- Stable under normal handling condition.

- May ignite when heating.
- Polymerize when irradiating by light.
- May cause explosion during nitrification with nitric acid and sulphuric acid.

- Follow related regulations and standards of local authorities when disposing.
- Absorb with sawdust, waste, diatomite or absorbing mat, and label contents. Consult a certified waste trader or ask the local authority if they deal with waste.
Contaminated packaging
- Recycle containers after cleaning or dispose appropriately in accordance with laws and local regulations.
- Remove completely remaining products from a container before disposal.
