Description of key information

A study was performed according to EU Method A.10 (Flammability (Solids)), the United Nations Document, Recommendations of the Transport of Dangerous Goods, Manual of Tests and Criteria (Test N.1.) and HSE Code of Physico-Chemical Properties 1982. It was determined that the test substance should be classified as "not a highly flammable solid".  It is anticipated that if Orthoboric acid, potassium salt could be isolated from the chemical matrix in which it is formed, it would exhibit identical behavior in this test, and should be classified in the same manner as boric acid.
