In the preliminary test, a clear flash point was observed at a test temperature of about 160°C. Therefore, the main test was also performed with a Pensky-Martens flash point apparatus.

The main test was performed in duplicate. A clear flash point was observed at a test item temperature of 140°C during both main tests at the actual atmospheric pressure of 98.2 kPa.

After correction for the atmospheric pressure, the flash point of the test substance was determined to be 141°C at 101.3 kPa.
