Administrative data
First-aid measures
- Inhalation: In case of excessive inhalation leave the area, breathe fresh air, stand still, and if necessary, seek medical advice. Symptoms: Choking, drowsiness, respiratory disorders - Eye contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 10 minutes. Seek immediate medical attention if tissue damage or symptoms persist. Symptoms: Irritation, redness. - Contact with skin: Change contaminated clothing. Wash affected skin with soap and water. Consult a physician if symptoms persist. Symptoms: Irritation, stinging, redness. - Ingestion Rinse mouth with water and consult a physician immediately, providing this safety data sheet. Do not induce vomiting Symptoms: Nausea, abdominal pain.
Fire-fighting measures
- Recommended extinguishing media: Carbon dioxide extinguisher, foam or dry powder. - Not recommended: Direct water jet, under pressure on incandescent material. - Personal protective equipment: Use general protective equipment for fire-fighters and use suitable respiratory equipment. Avoid inhalation of the fumes or vapors that are generated. - Hazards: Do not allow spillage to enter drains or water courses. High temperatures can give rise to high pressures inside the closed containers. Do not breathe fumes or vapors. Use standard extinguishing procedures
Accidental release measures
- Personal precautions: Use personal protective equipment. Keep away from sources of ignition. Ventilate the area of the spill. Avoid inhalation of vapors. Do not breathe combustion gases, if present. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes. See protective measures in sections 8 and 13 - Environmental precautions: Contain leaks with non-combustible, liquid-absorbent materials such as sand, inert dust or sepiolite. Do not allow to enter drains or watercourses. In case of a large spill, notify the fire department. - Methods for cleaning up: All material used to clean the spill should be handled as contaminated waste as soon as possible, in accordance with current legislation.
Handling and storage
1 Handling:
- Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene practices and standards.
- Respect good personal hygiene practices.
- Do not drink, eat or smoke while handling.
- Follow the norms of prevention of workable risks.
- Keep away from sources of ignition.
- Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing.
- Always work in properly ventilated rooms, avoiding inhaling the vapors.
- The addition to the finished product must be done at the lowest possible temperature.
2 Storage:
- Store in accordance with national and / or local storage regulations, observing the precautions indicated on the labeling.
- Store in airtight containers, preferably in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place away from sources of heat and direct sunlight.
- Protect from sources of ignition.
- Keep contact with the air to a minimum.
- Avoid the accumulation of electrostatic charges
- Do not store this product near food or drink water.

Exposure controls / personal protection
8.1. Exposure limit values: Biological limit values: Not determined 8.2. Exposure Controls: 8.2.1 Occupational exposure controls: 8.2.1.1. Respiratory protection: Avoid breathing directly on the product. Apply local ventilation where appropriate. Properly aerate the premises where the product is stored and handled. 8.2.1.2. Hand protection: Avoid contact with skin. Wear suitable gloves suitable for chemical resistance. Wash hands after use with plenty of soap and water. 8.2.1.3. Eye protection: Wear safety goggles with side shields against chemical splashes. 8.2.1.4. Skin protection: Avoid contact with skin by suitable equipment. 8.2.2. Environmental exposure controls Do not empty into drains and dispose of by authorized companies. Follow national and / or local regulations.
Stability and reactivity
Stable under normal conditions of use. It does not present significant dangerous reactions by itself or in contact with the water. - 10.1 Conditions to avoid High temperatures, pressures and improper handling of the containers. - 10.2 Materials to avoid Strong acids, bases and oxidizing agents - 10.3 Hazardous decomposition products: Under normal conditions of storage there is no known decomposition of hazardous substances. During combustion, carbon monoxide and unidentified organic compounds may be formed.
