Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

To assess the long-term toxicity of CAS 27614 -71 -7 to aquatic invertebrates, read across was performed to the structural analogue substances CAS 1328-53-6 and CAS 147-14-8.

The long-term toxicity of Phthalocyanines to Daphnia magna was investigated by a test on CAS 147-14-8 following OECD guideline 211. The semi-static test system was run for 21 days. Mortality and reproduction rate of Daphnia were recorded. A NOEC >1 mg/l was determined (ETAD, 1999, rep. no.: 99.0406). In a second key study following OECD guideline 211 the long-term toxicity of CAS 1328-53-6 was also determined. D. magna was exposed to the substance for 21 days. Regarding the reproduction of the animals a NOEC >= 1 mg/l was determined (BASF AG, 2000, rep. no.: 01/0341/51/1). Both tests were run without analytical monitoring.
