Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Test guideline
Qualifier:
no guideline available
Principles of method if other than guideline:
The test item is not stable in water or under the influence of humidity (see GLP-study no. 15L00071 from Competence Center Analytics, BASF SE, D-67056 Ludwigshafen). Due to that the determination of the log Pow corresponding to the OECD Guideline for the Testing of Chemicals 107 (shake flask method) is not feasible.

Results and discussion

Partition coefficient
Remarks on result:
other: The Pow of the test item cannot be determined

Any other information on results incl. tables

The Pow of the test item cannot be determined according to the shake flask method (OECD Guideline for the Testing of

Chemicals 107), because of the knowledge of the instability of the test item in aqueous systems or under the influence of

humidity.

The HPLC method (OECD Guideline for the Testing of Chemicals 117) is also not suitable to determine Pow, because the test

item cannot be chromatographed under the prescribed conditions.

Because of the instability of the test item in water and under the influence of humidity, the Pow cannot even be estimated

from the single solubilities in n-octanol and water.
