Results and discussion

Effect concentrations
Duration:
48 h
Dose descriptor:
LC50
Effect conc.:
51 mg/L
Nominal / measured:
nominal
Conc. based on:
test mat.
Basis for effect:
mortality
Details on results:
Note that the EC50 was determined using nominal test concentrations. The analytical results were based on the quantification of both the anionic and the cationic parts of the test substance and showed that the test concentrations were in agreement with nominal and remained stable during the 48-hour test period. However, extra peaks were observed during analysis. In addition, at the end of the exposure period a slight orange/brown colouring and undissolved particles were observed at the highest test concentration.
