Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Description of first aid measures:In all cases keep the victim at physical and mental rest and warm. In all serious events and always in case of eye contact, seek for medical help.Inhalation:Breake the exposure, transfer the victim to the fresh air, apply artificial respiration, if the victim is not breathing.Skin contact:Wash the skin with plenty of water and soap. Remove contaminated clothing.Eye contact:Rinse with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Immediately call in ophtalmologist.Ingestion:Rinse the mouth with clean water, give max. 0.5 l water to drink, do not induce vomiting, seek for medical help.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: Foam, water.Extinguishing media which shall not be used for safety reasons: Not known.Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: In case of burning, toxic and irritable gases may be formed (CO, nitrogen oxides).Advice for firefighters: In the event of fire, vear self-contained breathing apparatus (EN 137) and clothing protective against chemicals
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:For non-emergency personnel: Do not breathe dust.Avoid contact with skin and eyes.Use personal protective equipment.Environmental precautions:Prevent contamination of underground and surface water by the product. Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:Sweep up material amd place in the designated closed containers.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling:Avoid breathing of dust. Avoid skin and eye contact.Do not eat, drink or smoke during the work and observe the personal hygiene principles.Use personal protective equipment.Wash hands with warm water and soap before breaks and after work.Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:Store in original closed packing in dry areas, protected from direct weather conditions.Protect against an open fire and activity of heat. This substance is handled under Strictly Controlled Conditions in accordance with REACH regulation Article 17(3) for on-site isolated intermediates and, in case the substance is transported to other sites for further processing, the substance should be handled at these sites under the Strictly Controlled Conditions as specified in REACH regulation Article 18(4). Site documentation to support safe handling arrangements including the selection of engineering, administrative and personal protective equipment controls in accordance with risk-based management systems is available at each Manufacturing site.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Exposure limit value:No occupational exposure limits established.Exposure reduction (technical measures):Ensure adequate ventilation of the workplace.Avoid generation of dust.Individual protection measures, such as personal protective equipment:The type of protective equipment must be selected according to the concentration and amount of the dangerous substance at the specific workplace. Respiratory protection: if ventilation is insufficient, suitable respiratory protection must be providedHand protection:protective gloves,Eye/face protection:protective goggles or face shield,Skin protection:protective clothing, apron, boots, cap.Environmental exposure reduction:Uncontrolled escape of substance/formulation into environment is to be avoided.
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity:nder normal conditions (20 °C; 101,3 KPa), the product is stable.Chemical stability:Under normal conditions (20 °C; 101,3 KPa), the product is stable.Possibility of hazardous reactions:No known hazardous reactions.Conditions to avoid:Effect of heat.Incompatible materials:Strong oxidizing agents, strong acids, strong bases.
Disposal considerations
Disposal methods of the substance/preparation: Unusable or contaminated residues can be disposed of by combustion in hazardous waste incinerators in compliance with local regulations.Disposal methods of the contaminated packaging: Contaminated packaging dispose in accordance with local regulations.
