Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Instantly remove any clothing soiled by the product.
Actions are only necessary when during handling dust or smoke was created which was inhaled or swallowed.
· After inhalation: Supply fresh air; consult doctor in case of symptoms.
· After skin contact: The product is not skin irritating.
· After eye contact: Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water.
· After swallowing: Rinse out mouth and then drink plenty of water. In case of persistent symptoms consult doctor.
Fire-fighting measures
· For safety reasons unsuitable extinguishing agents: Water, Carbon dioxide
· Special hazards caused by the material, its products of combustion or flue gases: Formation of poisonous gases during heating or in fires.
· Protective equipment: No special measures required.
Accidental release measures
· Measures for environmental protection: No special measures required.
· Measures for cleaning/collecting: Collect mechanically.
Handling and storage
Information for safe handling: Ensure good ventilation/exhaustion at the workplace.
Information about protection against explosions and fires: No special measures required.
· Storage
Requirements to be met by storerooms and containers: Store only in the original container.
Information about storage in one common storage facility: Do not store together with acids. Do not store together with alkalis (caustic solutions).
Further information about storage conditions: Keep container tightly sealed.

Additional information
- Special provisions / remarks / other:
- Not dangerous according to the above specifications.
Exposure controls / personal protection
· Components with critical values that require monitoring at the workplace: Not required.
· Additional information: The lists that were valid during the compilation were used as basis.
· Personal protective equipment
· General protective and hygienic measures:
The usual precautionary measures should be adhered to in handling the chemicals.
Keep away from foodstuffs, beverages and food.
Store protective clothing separately.
Wash hands during breaks and at the end of the work.
· Breathing equipment: Dust mask recommended.
· Protection of hands:
Protective gloves.
The glove material has to be impermeable and resistant to the product/ the substance/ the preparation.
Due to missing tests no recommendation to the glove material can be given for the product/ the preparation/
the chemical mixture.
Selection of the glove material on consideration of the penetration times, rates of diffusion and the
degradation
· Material of gloves
The selection of the suitable gloves does not only depend on the material, but also on further marks of quality
and varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.
· Penetration time of glove material
The exact break trough time has to be found out by the manufacturer of the protective gloves and has to be
observed.
· Eye protection: Tightly sealed safety glasses.
Stability and reactivity
· Dangerous reactions
Reacts with alkali (lyes)
Reacts with acids
· Dangerous products of decomposition: Irritant gases/vapours
Disposal considerations
· Recommendation Can be reused without processing.
· European waste catalogue
06 00 00 WASTES FROM INORGANIC CHEMICAL PROCESSES
06 13 00 wastes from inorganic chemical processes not otherwise specified
06 13 99 wastes not otherwise specified
· Uncleaned packagings:
· Recommendation: Disposal must be made according to official regulations.
