Any other information on results incl. tables

Hydrolysis to maleic acid occurs in aqueous conditions, so test substance was likely a mixture of maleic anhydride, maleic acid and its salts.

Maleic acid was the analyte measured. Measured concentrations are the result of the mathematical conversion of the actual unrounded concentration of maleic acid to maleic anhydride equivalents. At test termination, pH measurements for all test solutions were <1, indicating that the buffer capacity of the test solution had been exceeded.
