In contact with water the ureido methacrylate will hydrolyse slowly (EPIWIN calculation).
Hydrolysis of ureido methacrylate is not
expected under relevant environmental conditions. The substance is
expected to be stable at neutral and acidic conditions. A calculation
using HYDROWIN v2.00 revealed hydrolytic stability in a range of several
years (SRC HYDROWIN v2.00).
In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex
VIII, the test on hydrolysis (required in section 9.2.2) was waived, as
the substance is ultimatively biodegradable.
