A study was conducted to evaluate the melting point of N-(phosphonomethyl) iminodiacetic acid (glyphosate intermediate) in accordance with the OECD guideline 102, EU method A.1 and EPA OPPTS 830.7200.

Under the test conditions, the test material decomposed at a temperature above 200 °C (473 °K); hence no melting point was obtained.
