Results and discussion
- Preliminary study:
- The test item, a viscous liquid, was stirred and heated by placing on a magnetic stirrer during concentration trial. The aerosol could not be generated. The highest actual concentration was 60 mg/m3 by filter gravimetric analysis.
The test item was then diluted by adding corn oil at the concentration of 50% (w/w) and 68% (w/w), respectively. Thenit was stirred and heated by placing on a magnetic stirrer during concentration trial. The highest actual concentration was 30 mg/m3 by filter gravimetric analysis.
Therefore, it is concluded that under the conditions of the lab, an aerosol phase of the test item cannot be generated.
Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Interpretation of results:
- other: study not feasible
- Conclusions:
- It is concluded that under the conditions of the lab, an aerosol phase of the test item cannot be generated.
