Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Additional information

Tests are available for prolonged exposure of algae, invertebrates and fish. These studies were fully reported and conducted according to GLP requirements. The short-term values for fish and Daphnia were derived from the long term studies. It should be noted that the test animals were fed during the test. Additional data for short-term for marine species were taken from the EU Risk Assessment Report (2008) as these values were below the data for fish and Daphnia.

No specific toxicity tests on micro-organisms were conducted, but in the biodegradation test, no inhibition was observed up to 30 mg/l. The NOEC is set to 22 mg/l, which is far above the water solubility of AHTN.
