Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The water-solubility of the test item is independent of the pH. Also based on structure considerations, the test item can not dissociate in water.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The water-solubility of the test item is independent of the pH. If the test item could dissociate, the solubility would increase. This does not take place in either alkaline or acidic aqueous media (pH=5, 7 or 9). The test item cannot dissociate in water due to a lack of relevant functional groups. Hence, the dissociation constant is irrelevant. Even if the test item was able to split in a cationic and anionic group, the water solubility of the substance is 1.25 mg/L and hence very low to obtain a suitable dissociation constant.
