The surface tension of an aqueous solution of PSOA (Peroxy sulfonated oleic acids) was determined as 32.91 ± 0.16 mN/m at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C.

The surface tension of PSOA (Peroxy sulfonated oleic acids) was mesured according OECD 115 and EU A.5 using the plate method.
The surface tension of an aqueous solution of PSOA was determined as 32.91 ± 0.16 mN/m at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C. One measurement was performed for verification (after 62 minutes). No significant changes and thus no significant dependence on time were observed. As all measured values were below 60 mN/m, the test item PSOA (Peroxy sulfonated oleic acids) was classified as surface active. The surface tension of the negative control was within the accepted range. The concentration was determined with 756.38 mg test item/L (based on analysis of dissolved organic carbon in the test solution).
