First-aid measures

Inhalation : Move the person away from the contaminated area.

Skin contact : Remove all contaminated clothing and footwear. Wash with water. Use appropriate protective equipment when treating a

contaminated person.

Eye contact : Rinse with running water whilst keeping the eyes wide open. (at least 15 minutes).

Ingestion : Rinse mouth out with water. NEVER attempt to induce vomiting.

Protection of first-aiders : If a great quantity of dust is formed : - respiratory protection with a particle filter.

Further information : Place contaminated clothing in a sealed bag for disposal. Use appropriate protective equipment when treating a contaminated

person.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media

- Suitable : Preferably use: Water, Foam

- Not suitable : None. If there is a fire close by, use suitable extinguishing agents.

Specific hazards : Not combustible. Does not present any particular risk in the event of a fire.

- Recovery : Collect up the product and place it in a spare container, suitably labelled.

- Cleaning/Decontamination : Wash contaminated area with large amounts of water.

Exposure limit values (Human Health) :

- Occupational exposure limit values (France) : Inhalable dust - VME: 10 mg/m3, Respirable dust - VME: 5 mg/m3, Fluoride, as F : VME: 2.5 mg/m3

- ACGIH Threshold Limit Values (U.S.A./A.C.G.I.H.) : Inhalable Particles - TLV (TWA) : 10 mg/m3, Respirable Particles TLV ( TWA ) : 3 mg/m3 , Fluoride, as F : TLV ( TWA ) : 2.5 mg/m3 .

Personal protective equipment
