Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The acute toxicity of ammonium [trisulphamoyl-29H,31H-phthalocyaninesulphonato(3-)-N29,N30,N31,N32]cuprat e(1-) (CAS 94534-99-3) to aquatic invertebrates was tested in a semi-static GLP guideline test performed with Daphnia magna according to OECD 202 (BASF SE, 2017). Water accommodated fractions (WAFs) were used to prepare each control and test media. The WAFs were stirred for 48 hours and then settled for 1 hour. Acute toxicity to waterfleas was tested at test concentrations of 12.5, 25, 50, 100 and 200 mg/l. Based on loading rate, the 48h EL50 was determined to be 93.8 mg/L (95% confidence limit: 73.8 – 116 mg/L).

Based on an 48h EL50 of 93.8 mg/L the substance is to be assessed as acutely harmful to aquatic invertebrates (LC/EC50 >10 to ≤100).
