No experimental for CAS 94534-99-3 are available. The substance belongs to the category of phthalocyanines. Phthalocyanines resemble in structure as well as physical and chemical properties, such as the log Kow (e.g. CAS 90295-11-7: log Kow of -2.29). Ammonium [trisulphamoyl-29H,31H-phthalocyaninesulphonato(3-)-N29,N30,N31,N32]cuprat e(1-) (CAS 94534-99-3) is assessed to exhibit a low log Kow (log Kow <3) based on read-across to structurally similar phthalocyanines (for details see IUCLID chapter 4.7). In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex IX the study does not need to be conducted since the substance has a log Kow less or equal than 3.

The bioaccumulation potential of ammonium [trisulphamoyl-29H,31H-phthalocyaninesulphonato(3-)-N29,N30,N31,N32]cuprate(1-) (CAS 94534-99-3) is assessed considering the available read-across data from Heliogen Blue 6920 (CAS 147-14-8). The test set up was comparable to the specifications given in OECD guideline 305. Cyprinus carpio was exposed to different concentrations of the substances for 6 weeks in a flow-through system. A BCF < 3.6 was determined for a concentration of 0.06 mg/l, whereas a concentration of 0.6 mg/l resulted in a BCF of <0.33 (MITI 1979).

Ammonium [trisulphamoyl-29H,31H-phthalocyaninesulphonato(3-)-N29,N30,N31,N32]cuprate(1-) (CAS 94534-99-3) is concluded not to significantly accumulate in organisms.
