Overall regression equation: y = -4817.7x + 15.525; R² = 0.9974

Based on this overall regression equation, the following values were calculated:

Vapour pressure (OECD 104; vapour pressure balance): 0.23 Pa (25 °C)
Executive summary:

The vapour pressure of pelargonic acid was determined in a reliable study performed compliant with GLP following the effusion method (vapour pressure balance) according to OECD 104. Two runs were performed, each with 7 measurements within the temperature range 22.0 °C to 41.5 °C. The following results were obtained (calculated from overall regression equation, integrating results from run 1 and run 2, R^2 = 0.997):

Vapour pressure (OECD 104; vapour pressure balance): 0.12 Pa (20 °C);

Vapour pressure (OECD 104; vapour pressure balance): 0.23 Pa (25 °C)

Description of key information

Vapour pressure (OECD 104; vapour pressure balance): 0.12 Pa (20 °C);

Vapour pressure (OECD 104; vapour pressure balance): 0.23 Pa (25 °C)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0.12 Pa
at the temperature of:
20 °C
