Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The vapour pressure of cis-3,3,5-trimethylcyclohexanol was determined from the most reliable study performed according to OECD 104 (2006) and 440/2008/EC A.4 with the static method at temperatures from 30.3 - 152.1 °C. An Antoine equation was derived. The value at 20 °C is 0.4 hPa for the subcooled liquid.
A collection of literature data is available with vapour pressures of 3,5,5-Trimethylcyclohexan-1-ol between 10 and 13 Pa at 20°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0.4 hPa
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

The value for the subcooled liquid is taken as Key. It is considered a worst case, since other literature data are significantly lower (0.1 hPa).
