Description of key information

The test substance N1,N3-diallylpropane-1,3-diamine dihydrochloride was found to be not readily biodegradable in a study according to test guideline OECD 301 F (Flach, 2020). Nevertheless, further testing on biodegradation in surface water, sediment or soil is not indicated due to exposure considerations. N1,N3-diallylpropane-1,3-diamine dihydrochloride is unlikely to reach surface waters, sediment or soil.
