Description of key information

No data on human is available for the target substance. Thus, available data from the chloride salt of the target substance was used in a read-across approach. Details on the read-across rational are provided in section 13. The skin sensitizing potential of the source substance was determined in two Human Repeated Insult Patch Tests (Shelanski, 1971 and Shelanski, 1973) with 200 volunteers each. Both studies showed no visible skin changes in any subjects, except for one volunteer showing a severe reaction (Shelanski, 1973). But, this effect was related to one of the other tested composite materials and not to the source substance.
