Guideline:
other: ASTM D891 test method: Test Method A, specific gravity, apparent, by means of a hydrometer
Principles of method if other than guideline:
The density of the liquid resin was determined by Hydrometer according to ASTM D891 test method.
This test method covers the specific gravity of the sample by immersing a calibrated hydrometer in the sample at the test temperature. The displacement of the hydrometer occurs from the function of the specific gravity of the sample, that is read on the hydrometer scale at the level of the meniscus of the sample. For reliable data, eyes must be horizontal to the plane of the liquid surface when reading the hydrometer scale. The measurements were conducted at 25 °C.
