Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

A literature review was conducted. In a weight of evidence approach the literature values were evaluated. Three independent reliable literature sources were chosen for this weight of evidence approach to fulfil the data requirements. The GESTIS database showed a density of 0.81 g/cm^3. The CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics 86th Edition 2005-2006 reports the relative density to be 0.8096 at 20 °C. Jürgen Falbe, Helmut Bahrmann, Wolfgang Lipps and Dieter Mayer (2005), as cited in Ullmann's Encyclopedia of Industrial Chemistry 21 Jan 2011, report the relative density of the test substance to be 0.809 at 20 °C.
