Description of key information
The self-heating properties of Bis(pentane-2,4-dionato)calciumwere investigated to determine whether this substance shall be classified as a self-heating substance according toEC Regulation No 1272/2008 (CLP). The study was performed in accordance with test method N.4 of the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria. One test was carried out, i.e. the test in the 100 mm sample cube at 140°C.
No significant self-heating was measured in the test. This means that the test substance shall not be classified as a self-heating substance.
