Description of key information

Flash point: -28°C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Several measured flash points are available in the range -15 to -28°C. Those known to have been conducted according international or national standard methods are considered reliable, even when no further information about the studies is availble. The reliable studies give a range of flash points from -28°C to -18°C; the key study has been selected because the study is well documented and it is the lowest value. Variations in the flash point values may be caused by variations in purity of the test substance and the test method used. All values are consistent with the substance being high flammable.
