Results and discussion

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Executive summary:

No experimental determination of boiling temperature was possible using Method A2 of Commission Directive 92/69/EEC (which constitutes Annex V of Council Directive 67/548/EEC), as the test material decomposed on heating. Although a liquid phase occurred during decomposition, the sample was no longer considered representative of the main component of the test material under investigation. Calculations performed using an adaptation of the Stein and Brown Method (MPBP for Windows version 1.42, © 2000 US Environmental Protection Agency) resulted in an estimated boiling temperature significantly greater than 633 K at 101.325 kPa for the main component of the test material.
